At sixteen, Aaliyah has her whole life ahead of her. Her family is supportive, her grades are decent, and Jasmine, her friend and mentor, always offers advice when needed. Hemalkasa is an inspirational biopic that tells the journey of Dr. Prakash Baba Amte and his wife Dr. Mandakini Amte, a couple who dedicated their lives to a project for the development of tribal people of Maharashtra, India, in the toughest of conditions with little or no support from the establishment. Against the odds the couple struggle to set up a hospital, school and orphanage at Hemalkasa. Bollywood star Nana Patekar and Sonali Kulkarni deliver the performance of their lives in this incredibly moving film that will leave you with a tear in your eye, a smile on your lips.

A wonderfully charming film about immigrant experience and the value of friendship. Salvador is a young Chilean man who is supported by his parents to make his first trip abroad. He comes to London to live with his aunty Maria in her house. He soon discovers Maria’s colourful party lifestyle and the odd collection of lodgers that share her house. Fascinated by life in the ‘most exciting city in the world’ he decides to stay on against his parents’ wishes. He must now struggle to make a new life supported by the friends he makes along the way
